Privacy Policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

Who we are

This policy explains how Vertigo Creative Works (“Vertigo”, “we”) handles personal data on the vertigocw.com website, in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13,709/2018, “LGPD”).

Vertigo is responsible for (the controller of) the data described here. For any matter related to privacy, write to contato [at] vertigocw.com.

What data we handle

We handle only the data needed for the website to work and to respond to you:

  • Contact form: your name, e-mail address and the message you write.
  • WhatsApp and e-mail: if you reach us through these channels, we receive your name, number or address and the messages you send.
  • Visit statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages are visited and to measure the website’s performance. According to Vercel, this data is aggregated and collected without cookies: pages visited, country, device type, browser and loading times.
  • Technical data: as with any website, the server receives your IP address and browser information on each visit, which are used to deliver the pages and protect the website against abuse.

The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not create user accounts.

How we use the data

  • To respond to messages and requests for information or quotes (LGPD, art. 7, V).
  • To keep the website running, secure and performing well, and to understand how it is used (legitimate interest, LGPD, art. 7, IX).

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

To work, the website relies on a few services that also receive data:

  • Vercel — website hosting and visit statistics.
  • E-mail delivery provider — forwards messages from the contact form to our inbox.
  • YouTube (Google) — video cover images are fetched by our server and delivered from the website itself, without your browser accessing YouTube. When you click on a video, you are taken to YouTube, which has its own privacy policy.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — conversations on WhatsApp are subject to Meta’s policies.

Links to Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and ticketing websites lead to external services that are not controlled by us.

International transfer

Some of these services store or process data outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. We choose providers that adopt security and data protection measures compatible with the LGPD.

How long we keep data

Messages we receive are kept for as long as they are needed to respond and follow up on the contact, and may be deleted at any time at your request. Visit statistics are aggregated and do not identify you.

Security

The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and uses technical measures to reduce abuse, such as a limit on contact form submissions. No system is completely immune to failures, but we work to protect the data we receive.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may, at any time:

  • confirm whether we handle your data and access it;
  • correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • request the anonymization, blocking or deletion of data;
  • request the portability of your data to another provider;
  • find out with whom we share your data;
  • withdraw consent, where consent is the basis for the processing.

To exercise these rights, write to contato [at] vertigocw.com. We respond within 15 days, the period set by the LGPD for full access to data. You may also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, ANPD).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update below.
