About the Event
The Camerata Antiqua de Curitiba celebrates the 90th anniversary of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana in three performances. Set to medieval poems found at Benediktbeuern Abbey in Germany, the cantata moves through the wheel of Fortune, springtime, the tavern and love. Alongside Ornella de Lucca, the soloists are tenor Alexandre Mousquer and baritone Cláudio de Biaggi. Jessé Souza is at the piano, and actors Edson Bueno, Tiago Luz and William Barbier take part in the performance. Admission is free; tickets are handed out 1 hour before the concert.
