Olga Kiun

Born into a traditional family of musicians, pianist Olga Kiun began studying piano at the age of 6 with her mother and grandmother, both teachers at the Chișinău Conservatory of Music in Moldova. She graduated with distinction from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where she studied with Lev Oborin. She won the George Enescu International Competition in Romania.

Alongside her work as a concert pianist, Olga is also recognized for her teaching: as a professor at the Paraná School of Music and Fine Arts, she trained generations of pianists and helped make Curitiba a sought-after center for piano in South America.
